The Joyful Child Foundation, established by Erin Runnion in 2002 in memory of her murdered daughter Samantha, held a benefit at the Fashion Island Hotel to raise funds for the Brave Initiative to empower children and teens to protect themselves. A beautiful painting of Samantha by artist Laurent Careau was unveiled to launch Samantha’s Legacy Fund for child protection and prevention education.
